Dungeon Crawl Chili

DC Chili is a Dungeon Crawl fork based on the Stone Soup (DCSS) fork v0.35 trunk

It will include significant content from BCadren Crawl to be imported between June and August 2026 along with:

1. A big rework of the first 4 floors to include:

• a randomly generated forested floor as D:1;
• a few static villages as D:2;
• a D:3 with various Castle type vaults; and
• BCadren's Sewer floor as D:4

2. Many more Uniques (new and modified) are planned and to be encountered; and

3. Most branches will be pruned by one floor (except for the Orcish Mines and the Elven Halls)

The fork was launched in: June 2026

with the goal of having a working beta version on the new DCF Webtiles server in time for the CCForksT in August 2026.

The DC Chili fork is made up of a very small team right now and will need help in recruiting C programmers ...so if you know anyone who wants to be an active volunteer dev for a new and exciting crawl fork...please spread the word!

We're also looking for a few specialized devs to make big special vaults (in .des files).
